I would like to nominate all the fine ladies that live in the Kianu house this year for Girl with the Arrow for January. These wonderful ladies: Allison Zellers, Lori Carskadden, Chrissy Button, Lauren Dupuis, Jenny Gregory, Jodi Kusmer, Melissa Seeger, Caity McCandless, Sherry Guisinger, Erin Guyer, Beth Riley, Lisa Kidder, and Amie Ramsey, have not only made people feel very welcome in the Kianu house this year, but they have also shown what Kianu truly means. Years ago our crest was stolen, spray painted, and thrown into the pond. These wonderful ladies have not only retrieved the crest, but they have done hours of work to return it to its original state. Through many pictures and hours of painting these ladies have our crest back looking new and hung proudly above our house for our alumni at homecoming. This is a wonderful example of how persistence and hard work are true values of Kianu.
