I would like to nominate junior, Lindsay Arick, for January 'Girl With the Arrow’. As many of you may know, Lindsay is my sister - my real sister - and I was thrilled when she went to Muskingum and became my sister in another way, by joining Kianu. Lindsay is very active in the club and I could not choose a more perfect person for this honor. She is currently the social chair, and I have heard many stories of her preparing parties with all the hard work that goes along with being the social chair. She had to miss the Ohio State/Michigan games to decorate for a party, something I am not sure I could have done, ha! I am also always hearing stories of how busy she is with the club, attending every activity and encouraging others to do so. Lindsay still manages to keep her grades up, teach dance and cheer.

She has had a very rough month, but she has managed to keep everything together and stick to her responsibilities, when others may have decided to quit. She is a beautiful person, inside and out, who many times thinks of others, when she should be thinking of herself. Selfish is not a word that is in her vocabulary. Her dedication is endless. Lindsay is a person that I am not only lucky enough to have as a sister, but even more lucky to have as a best friend. She loves XAN, but more importantly, loves her sisters in XAN. Everywhere she goes, she leaves a special mark with the people she meets.
