Lisa Kidder (June 2001)
Current Kianu President- Class of 2002

When thinking of an active that thoroughly represents Kianu, the same person pops in my head time after time. I firmly believe that Lisa Kidder eats, drinks, and breathes Kianu, day after day. She has always looked out for the benefit of the club, even if she has fifteen other things to do at the same time. I think that she and Tim Kidder pledged XAN Tim's freshman year of college (when Lisa was still in HS). I have heard stories of her hanging out with people and becoming close to actives then, that some of us actives now have never had the opportunity or pleasure to meet face to face. I lived on the same floor as Lisa my freshman year at Muskingum, and our floor had our regular three a.m. heart to heart talks, and somehow, every conversation with Lisa had something to do with her desire to be a Kianu. Her love for the club before she was even a member, made about four more of us love the club just as much as her, and we had hardly even had the chance to meet to any of the members at that point. I am pretty sure that Lisa Kidder dirty rushed half of our floor into going XAN, and she wasn't even a member yet. :) But once Lisa did become a member, she put her heart and soul into the club. She spent her two years as Assistant Pledge Educator, and Pledge Educator, and now we have elected her as our president, to represent us in all that we do, because Lisa Kidder is XAN. She always will be.
